Blurb for Red Club Temptation (Lobster Cove):
She needs a dungeon master. He needs her secrets.

Red Club owner Jessie Michaels isn't looking for love, just someone competent to monitor her dungeon in Lobster Cove's only BDSM club. But a new Dominant catches her eye and makes her tingle in all the right places. She's called away for business before she can catch his name, but not before that commanding voice tempts her for more.

Caleb Drake has returned to Lobster Cove to find out what makes the Red Club so successful only to discover the sexy redheaded sub he met the night before is actually his boss. He vows to keep business separate from pleasure, but the temptation to see if the iron-fisted club owner is truly submissive in the bedroom becomes too much.

But when Caleb's ulterior motive is revealed, will Jessie be ruled by business...or pleasure?

Excerpt from Red Club Temptation (Lobster Cove):

Time to find out if she was a Domme or sub. This time when their gazes met and held, he mouthed the word “Obey.” Her gaze dropped. He sucked in a breath. Damn, she was a submissive. And just what he needed. He couldn’t help himself as he strode across the room.

Caleb stopped when he was within touching distance, and her gaze never rose from the floor.  Excitement stirred in his spine for the first time in a long time.

“Hello,” he said.

 "Good evening, Sir.” Her voice was soft but calm, eyes still downcast.

He cupped her chin and tilted her head up. “Look at me, sweetheart, I want to see your eyes.”

Hazel eyes to go with beautiful red hair. He loved looking into the eyes of his subs, unless of  course he had them blindfolded, and then he would make them use other senses.

“Are you available?” He glanced at her wrist. No band. He’d been told anyone with a black band was off limits.

“Excuse me?” a male voice intruded.

Caleb’s gaze left her to see one of the dungeon masters standing next to them. “You’re needed in the other room, Red.”

Her spine stiffened, and she lifted her chin out of Caleb’s hold. “Thanks, Ryan. I’ll be right there.”

Ryan nodded and gave Caleb the once over before disappearing into the private club area.

“Sorry, but I have to go.”

“I understand, but first.” He cupped her cheeks and brushed a kiss across her soft lips. She leaned into him when he released her mouth. “I’ll be here if you want to play later.” He released her and stepped back.

Her fingers touched her lips and then she smiled. “I might take you up on that.” Then she strode away hips swaying.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt From Rookie Season
Steve, Joe, Dave and I were waiting in the living room. I called up to Sam several times. He didn’t answer.
“He’s probably having trouble deciding which Clay Love jersey to wear,” Dave joked.
I ran up the stairs and knocked on his door. “Sam?”
No answer.
I turned the doorknob and pushed the door open slowly.
“Sam, are you ready?”
Still no answer.
I walked through his room toward his bathroom. When I came around the other side of his bed, I saw him. He was laying on the floor unconscious.
I screamed, “Call 911! It’s Sam!”
In less than two seconds, Steve was in the room. He must have taken the stairs three at a time. He pushed me out of the way and knelt next to Sam, checking his pulse, listening for breathing.
“He’s alive! Let’s not wait for an ambulance. We can get him there faster.”
“No,” said. “The hospital is close. The ambulance is probably already here.”
I was right. Within a couple of minutes, the paramedics were lifting Sam onto a gurney. Dave and Morrison held the photographers back so the paramedics could get Sam to the ambulance.
Steve took my arm. “Come on, I’ll take you to the hospital.” Then he looked at Joe. “Do you have that paperwork?” Joe nodded. I had no idea what paperwork they were talking about, but I didn’t care. I just wanted to get in the car and get to the hospital as fast as possible. Joe and Steve got me into the car. Dave was going to watch the house and Morrison would be following to the hospital in another car to help with security there, if needed.
All I could think about was Sam.
In the car, I asked Steve, “How long was it since anybody saw him? How long could he have been lying there?”
“I don’t know,” Steve said.
“I saw him several hours ago, right after lunch. He said he was tired. He was going upstairs to rest.”
“So he could have been there for hours? Oh my god.” I put my head in my hands.
“There’s something I need to tell you.”
Hart Emile is tired of cruising for guys, living a soulless existence. He needs a change; so when an acquaintance gives him the number of the gay friendly Red Fox Ranch that’s hiring for staff, he heads south.
Oak Redman is eighteen years old and desperate to explore his awakening sexuality. The moment Hart lays eyes on the handsome young rancher he’s smitten. Not only is Oak hot, spirited and very persistent, he is also the ranch boss’s son and strictly off limits. Hart tries to fight his feelings and to respect his boss and the family who quickly become dear to him, but after Oak's Grandma suggests he gets with Oak he can't deny himself the most exciting and enticing man he has ever met.
Hart’s not the only man to have noticed how sweet and charming Oak Redman is. A family friend, Steve, is also anxious to have the affections of the young rancher. Can Hart work out Steve’s dark secrets before it’s too late and keep his job, his lover and his life?
Enjoy an excerpt:
The high-pitched choir of songbirds echoed through the forest as Oak and Hart settled on a rug, late in the afternoon. The two of them had found a clearing at the side of the forest that was near enough to the tress to offer shade, but also close to the water where they’d been fishing. They’d no sooner sat down than Hart spotted something on the other side of the riverbank moving in the grass.
“Shh…I just saw something. I think it’s an otter.” Hart absentmindedly put a hand on Oak’s lap to still him. He didn’t know which was more exciting, seeing the otters, or the burning hot palm that touched his thigh. Oak sat rigidly, glancing between the handsome cowboy’s hand and the otter family bounding along through the grass bank.
“Aren’t you going to get your camera?” Hart chivvied him along.
“Oh…yes.” Oak moved slowly, reaching for the black bag and pulling the camera out. He attached the lens calmly and crawled down the small decline toward the stony bank. He beckoned Hart to join him then focused the lens on the otters. He could hear his companion creeping through the grass behind him. Belly down on the mud, Oak steadied the camera as Hart came alongside him, and let out a sigh as he sank down next to Oak to watch.
The female had two pups with her. As their svelte bodies wound through the rocks to the water’s edge, the mother otter glided into the river without so much as a splash, and the two pups followed. Oak lost count of the photos he took, possibly hundreds of shots as they paddled through the murky depths cautiously. Their fur shiny and dark from absorbing water, making their frames sleeker as they gracefully bathed against the flow.
“Can you hear them?” Hart said with a smile that sprang from his lips right through to his big gray eyes.
“Yeah…” Oak whispered.
The otters called to one another with endearing high-pitched squeaks.
“You ever seen them hold hands?” Hart asked, his lips so close to Oak’s ear that he could feel Hart’s breath tickling the skin.
“No, but I’d love to get a picture of it.”
After about fifteen minutes of lying in the grass like a predator, Oak’s pointed his lens to follow the family towards some big flat stones that were warm from the sun. The otters rested on the smooth surface, shaking their fur, and squeaking to each other until eventually all three disappeared through the long grasses.
“Hart.” Oak turned to face his companion on the ground.
“Yes?”
“I just realized I’m getting damp down here,” Oak said, letting out a snort.
“Me too…” A wicked smile came to his dark pink lips that spread out with luscious fullness as he broke into a chuckle.
At that moment elation filled Oak Watching the beautiful man was always a pleasure. The river tickled over rocks, murmuring quietly, and Hart’s lips were so close to Oak’s that he could feel each breath on his skin. Moving closer, Hart’s mouth brushed Oak’s so slightly, that Oak wasn’t even sure they’d actually touched.
With closed eyes, Oak parted his mouth willing the man’s tongue inside. Soft, plump lips pressed against his sending a shudder through his spine. His breath hitched with anticipation. A chaste kiss ended with Hart pulling away and shaking his head.
“You and your wildlife photography are leading me astray, young Mr. Redman.”
“Sorry…” Heat rushed up to Oak’s neck and face. He couldn’t understand why he was blushing. The soft, innocent kiss had been simple enough, but the highly-strung emotions behind it made him hot with every need possible. All of his senses were raw, responsive to the man’s presence. What would Hart’s muscles feel like under the man’s touch? Warm, golden skin would rub easily against his, and the comforting, arousing scent of pine would enhance each sensation further.
Hart stood; the blue T-shirt had ridden upward, exposing his flat stomach and hard abs. He tugged the material down, covering the dark treasure trail leading to his cargo pants, and dusted himself off, shedding grass from his top. Oak stared, then realized he should roll his tongue back in and get to his feet. He followed Hart back to the blanket, and flicked through some of the shots he’d taken of the otters.
“You want a look?”
“Sure.” Hart put hand out and took the camera instead of coming close to Oak but being three feet away still made his skin tingle with expectation. An expectation that would go unfulfilled.
Who's Mia Dee? #erotica #tobereleased
I've updated the blog with a fresh background and a new tab (look up to the far right!)
A good friend urged me to dabble in some short erotica stories so I could get more content on my shelves and feel more productive. I didn't want regular readers to be confused or disappointed that the new material is lacking the standard romance element my books are known for. At the moment, the erotica stories I have planned focus on the sexual journey of a character or characters.
Here are some answers to questions you may have...
Are Mia Dee stories hot? Absolutely.
Do they have conflict and emotion? Yes. These first few characters aren't as conflicted as some I have written, but they're 10,000 word short stories. When I was a kid, I never thought, "Gee, why isn't there a yacht at the bottom of my Cracker Jack box?" I liked the trinkets and little toys you fished out of the very bottom of the sticky box. Mia Dee books are the same thought. The point was to write sexy, fun, short stories that I could edit and produce on a quicker basis than a 100,000 word novel. It gives me a different outlet for my craft and allows me to take characters on assorted journeys I wouldn't necessarily use in my erotic romance writing.
Erotic Romance vs. Erotica (Mia Downing Vs. Mia Dee)
Some people use the terms interchangeably, but there's actually a big difference between erotic romance and erotica.
Erotic romance: A story that showcases the romantic journey of usually two characters (unless you have a menage that ends up with a happily ever after, but we'll stick to two right now.) The story arc follows the characters through meeting, falling in love, usually there's a black moment that rips them apart before they end up together happily ever after.  The sex contains more details and a much hotter heat level than a regular romance, and the author is able to use the sex scenes to show character growth, emotion and conflict.
Erotica: Erotica usually follows the sexual journey of a character or characters but doesn't follow the traditional romance formula. The characters might be married and enhancing their sex life or improving their marriage by experimenting. Perhaps the heroine or hero is on a sexual journey of discovery that doesn't end happily ever after in a romantic sense. Erotica can (and should!) contain just as much emotion and conflict as an erotic romance.
So...it's porn? Absolutely not. Written porn is created with the soul purpose for sexual fulfillment. There is no character development, no emotions, no conflict, no depth. It's basically a sex scene meant for the reader to read with one hand (because the other is busy...like...ya know.)
While these short stories are packed with sex scenes, they're not emotionless or lacking some conflict. The goal was to show a heroine's sexual journey taken to the next level. I'm hoping to show these two become closer and their marriage stronger as they discover how to meet each other's needs.
So when will the first Mia Dee installment be out? Very soon! The first story, Naughty Beach Fling (#1 Are You Watching?) is complete and has been through the editing journey. I'm waiting for a cover design from the fabulous Designs by D (Diana Carlile).
Now for the blurbs!
Are You Watching?
Naughty Beach Fling (#1 Are You Watching?)
Wendy Anderson’s good girl halo tarnishes in a big way when she discovers a few secrets about her husband’s sexy best friend, Travis Smith. Back in college, Travis made porn films to make ends meet. While on vacation, Wendy’s imagination goes wild and she can’t help but wonder if the two guys will indulge in some naughty beach fun.
Naughty Night Out (#2 Are You Watching?)
When Travis Smith returns from out of town business, Wendy Anderson hopes to resume their playtime fun. But her husband, Justin, ups the ante when he takes them out to dine at a posh restaurant in a private room. The waiter is young, hot, and one of Travis’ friends, and Justin wants her to put the seduction skills to the test in this naughty night out.
Release Day for Justin by Christi Snow #malemodelchronicles #newrelease #kindle #contemporaryromance
Justin by Christi Snow releases today!!
Cover Design by JSB Designs
Cover Model: Justin James Cadwell
Justin is Christi's 10th book!
Between the pages of this yummy cover is Justin, her first standalone novella inspired by images from Kruse Images & Photography. I was lucky enough to read it and it's a wonderful book! Both characters are well-drawn, likable, and lots of fun. I really enjoyed this fast-paced read, and I'm sure you will, too.
******
And now a little bit about the book.
Justin…
Tara Malone is having one of those lives. Born to Oscar award-winning actor, Anthony Malone, and model-famous beauty, Veronica Scott, she should have it made. But her curvy figure and out-of-control frizzy red hair are just the start of her many, many issues. Now to make matters worse, she’s started out her week by running over model, Justin James, with her car. She had a lot of fantasies about the cover model, but never did any of them include vehicular assault.
Justin James doesn’t have time for two broken wrists, but neither does his over-achieving family. He can’t open up his fridge or unzip his fly without excruciating pain and no one else has the time to help him. Tara already shot him down at the accident scene, but maybe he can work this so that the curvy bombshell has a reason to hang around for a bit. He’s not above using guilt if it means he gets to know her better.
The first in a new series of novellas inspired by Shauna Kruse’s photography and her beautiful male models.
Here are the buy links:
The Male Model Chronicles, a new series by Christi Snow
Disclaimer: The Male Model Chronicles, a new fictional series, is built around the real-life world of Kruse Images & Photography and the gorgeous male models that Shauna Kruse gets to immortalize in her photos. The heroes are real people who also happen to be male models, but every single other thing about the series is fiction.
This is the first in the Male Models Chronicles series. This series is tied together by theme, but none of the stories are tied together, although Shauna, of Kruse Images & Photography, is a re-occurring character throughout the series (and yes, she'll eventually get her own book, too, even though she's not a male model).
The series:
1. Justin
2. Lance (releasing May/June)
3. Joshua (releasing Oct)
4. Brendon (2016)
Hearts on Fire Cover Reveal #contemporaryromance #countrymusic
This post is part of a virtual book tour revealing the cover of Alison Packard's newest book Hearts on Fire which will be released on February 3. One randomly drawn commenter via Rafflecopter will receive a $10 Amazon or Barnes and Noble gift card. Click on the tour banner to see the other stops on the tour.
Country music star Jessie Grant has it all. An amazing voice, a string of multi-platinum albums, and a sold-out concert tour. But just before her Hearts on Fire tour rolls into Las Vegas, her lead guitarist is badly injured and is unable to play. Desperate to find a replacement before the night of a televised live show, Jessie is forced to accept help from the last person on earth she wants to see again.
Drew Carmichael has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the best up-and-coming musicians in Nashville, without cashing in on his renowned father’s name. When Jessie’s manager calls and asks him to fill in for her band’s injured guitar player, he agrees to help Jessie out even though she cut him out of her life four months ago.
In Sin City, sparks fly between Jessie and Drew, and it isn’t long before they give in to their mutual attraction. But when the dark past Jessie has successfully hidden for ten years explodes in the media, their tenuous bond is put to the test, and both Jessie and Drew must learn to trust each other if they don’t want their newfound romantic relationship to go up in flames.
Enjoy an excerpt:
As if sensing she was being watched, she turned and their gazes collided across the stage. Her smile faltered as the seconds ticked by. She remained rooted to the spot, so he moved forward. One of them had to make the first move; it looked like it would be him.
“Hey,” he said as he halted in front of her.
She thanked the roadie, who smiled and left them to attend to Tara and Renee.
“Hello,” she replied, her tone formal and her eyes guarded. “Thank you for agreeing to help us out.”
“You’re welcome.” He rested his arm along the top of his favorite guitar, a Fender Strat that he’d bought when he was sixteen, after years of saving his allowance and hoarding the money he’d earned doing odd jobs around town.
Although his father had made good money and left them fairly well-off after he died, his mom always believed that he should learn the value of money. It was a lesson he’d learned well, and to this day, he hadn’t touched one dollar of the money his father had left him. He wanted to make something of himself on his own terms, not because he had connections or an inheritance.
“Wally gave me the set list yesterday. It looks like it’s pretty much the same as before,” he said, after an uncomfortable silence.
“For the most part.” Jessie tucked a strand of dark hair behind her ear. “The only difference is, I’ve changed up the order so that some of my older stuff is sprinkled throughout the set. Works better that way.”
He nodded. “So what the hell happened to Kenny? Wally said he broke his arm?”
Jessie rolled her eyes. “The damn fool decided to take a swan dive off the stage, and because he’d had a couple of fireballs before the show, he miscalculated how close the audience was to the stage and fell smack dab onto the concrete floor.”
Drew gasped, equally shocked and amused at the picture she’d painted. “Jesus. Are you serious?”
Her lips curved upwards with a ghost of a smile. It was something, even if it wasn’t the usual mega-watt smile she gave him when they used to hang out together. “It’s true. I couldn’t make something like that up. Broke his arm in two places.”
“Ouch.” He winced, thinking of the pain Kenny must have been in. “So he’ll be laid up for a while?”
“Looks like it,” she said. Then, without warning, her tone turned frosty again, and the laughter vanished from her eyes. “Well, we should get started. Do you feel comfortable with all the songs?”
“Yeah. I could do them in my sleep,” he said, then frowned. “Did that sound cocky?”
“No. Just confident.” Her unreadable eyes roamed over his face. “Wally wants us to do a duet.”
“I know.”
He’d taken a look at the sheet music and recognized the song immediately. Anybody who’d ever attended a wedding in the last twenty years would probably be aware of the hit ballad that was popular in the early ‘80s. It was a nice song, and one that would suit his and Jessie’s harmonies to a tee.
“I’m not sold on the idea, but he seems to think it’ll be good for the CMT taping.”
“Whatever you decide is fine with me.” He brushed his hair back from his eyes and held her gaze. “I miss talking to you, Jessie,” he said, unable to stop himself.
Her eyes flickered with some unknown emotion, which vanished as quickly as it came.
“We should get to work. Time’s a wastin’.” And with that, she turned her back on him, moved to the center mic near the front of the stage and never looked back.
#MySexySaturday First Date Angst from Switching Leads #mm #glbt #kindle #eroticromance
"Our Sexy New Year"
The rules are simple: Choose 7 words, 7 sentences, or 7 paragraphs of something sexy to share!
Switching Leads released this week, so I'm doing 7 paragraphs from this sexy, angst-ridden novella. Mine doesn't really have a New Year's theme except both of my heroes have made resolutions that concern each other. Sexy horse trainer Finn Parker wants to get his ex-lover and boss, John Graham, to forgive him again. John vows to do everything he can to stay out of Finn's bed. From the passage below, it looks like maybe Finn's on the way to success in the resolution department!
And now, 7 paragraphs from Switching Leads...
John had no clue what to say to Finn, not when desire asked him to give in. “Do you still like pizza?”
Finn dropped the pen and blinked fast a few times. “I had pizza for lunch yesterday. You sat and watched me eat it.”
Triple shit. Yes, he had, and he’d gotten hard at the way Finn had licked sauce off his fingers, too. “I haven’t had Palozzo’s in quite a while,” John commented. “Is it still good?” Finn lived near campus and also near the famous pizza place. That was safe small talk.
Finn nodded slowly with a confused frown. “It’s still the best I’ve ever had.”
With an internal sigh, John dismantled all of the roadblocks he’d set up in his mind and gave in to the desire. “Would you…” He gulped, his cheeks heating. It was only pizza, damn it. “Want to get some?”
“It’s nine-thirty in the morning.”
John licked his dry lips with an even dryer tongue. “I mean tonight.”
