Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Jump with @Miadowning007!

It's a Happy Holiday from your favorite Authors and Bloggers. While we know everyone celebrates a different way, we wanted to make sure that you guys knew how much we treasure you all.

Personally, I hate the holidays and sometimes it's hard to find the love in the mix of shopping, wrapping and finding parking spaces. I will say as my kids have gotten bigger, our traditions have gotten more interesting. Last year the kids took on a new tradition--extreme wrapping. That means your new sneakers in a shoe box may be transformed into a wrapped robot with moving arms and legs. Or your kitchen utensils may become a dachshund. Other unique presents were wrapped to look like a mouse, a cat, and a dolphin. The kids were so proud of their handiwork and it made the day really fun.

In my writing, none of my characters have gotten to celebrate the holidays on paper. I would think their gifts would be fairly interesting, though, seeing Chase and Kate Sanders gave their close friend, Jake, a menage for his birthday in Birthday Games. I can't imagine what Santa could shove in a stocking to beat that.

I do have a fun gift for you guys. My newest m/m Just Ask is free on Amazon this week! If you haven't tried m/m this is a great book to cut your teeth on. The book has spent the last 20 days on the top 100 list for Gay and Lesbian literature peaking at #4 and it's free until 12/16.

I'll leave you the link, go check out the blurb and download!

On to the prizes!!!!

I love your books, Mia! Finished reading Just Ask yesterday, and thought it was wonderful!! Looking forward to starting Ripped very soon. :)
I adore Christmas! One tradition that we do from year to year is decorate our tree with the special ornaments we have collected throughout the years. Each of my kids, hubby and I have our own box, filled with ornaments from growing up. So much fun to take them out each year and put them on the tree while remembering when and where we got each one.

I love your books! Just Ask was one of my favorite m/m reads, ever!

I LOVE Christmas! I have 2 favorite traditions. First, every year we decorate the tree as a family on Black Friday. Each ornament has a story or sentimental meaning and we laugh and talk about each one as it gets put on. Second, I have a Polish Catholic Mother, so on Christmas Eve she makes a traditional Polish dinner. Homemade Pierogies, mushroom soup with carrots and potatoes, and shirley temples. My family from Virginia comes to her house and we all chat, eat, and have fun.

every year while growing up, my mom gave me a Christmas ornament, when I got married, she gave me that box, with all the ornaments, so I could decorate my first tree. it's something I've carried on and started with my own kids.

Hi Mia! I can't wait to read Just Ask! I've loved everything I've read by you so far!! Congrats on your success with Just Ask and Amazon-You deserve the best!! Usually our tradition is pretty simple, we go to a movie on Christmas Eve (it's almost always just the four of us, except this year we are going to TX) and spend Christmas Day relaxing in our jammies and playing board games.

One of my favorite Christmas Romance Books is The Untamable Rogue by Annette Blair! The story is about Ashford Blackburne Fifth Earl and he has to get married and get his willing bride pregnant before Christmas or his grandfather won’t let him inherit his money. Ash truly needs to inherit the money because his late father squandered it all away and he is taking care of his mother. After getting stood up at the alter, again, Ash and his friends go to the local pub where the owner plays a drunken Ash in a card game…his consolation prize is the pubs daughter Larkin, who he wants to get ride of. Ash has to learn to forgive…Larkin has to learn how to trust…can two completely different people find love together. This is a cute, extremely funny, romantic story with a surprise Christmas ending!

haha... yeah, I sometimes really dislike having to deal with the holidays. people go fucking crazy over nothing and think they're excused just cuz it's holiday season... whatever.. lol
But this year, since my beautiful nephew understands more of what is going around him, we're really celebrating. I can hardly wait! lol..

Thanks for the contest~

Now that hubby and I are older we don't really have a tradition. But we both enjoy Christmas. I love watching all the Christmas tv movies. I enjoy the smells of Christmas, the food and lights. Oh and the music too. Not much into baking anymore. But I do enjoy tasting, ask my scales. Tee Hee. Thanks for being on the Holiday Blog Hop. Great blog. roya-clan@sbcglobal.net
