Kim's overview...
Azure and Tara are twins who have been estranged for the last 2 years. Two years is a long time. Secrets have been kept, but one thing is in the way of their reconciliation. Him.

After receiving an invitation to spend 3 months on a yacht, owned by business associates of Azure and her husband’s, Tara decides to go. Not to see her sister, but to see the man she has been in love with since she was a little girl. Her childhood crush turned into adulthood lust for her brother in law, Liam. Surely, he remembers her from their one night together.

Kim's review...
I had a really hard time getting into this book. The writing is really good, as is the story. But, there are so many secrets and misunderstandings that made it difficult to keep up with.

Tara goes on the cruise hoping to see her lifelong love, Liam. The only problem is that he doesn’t know who she is other than his sister in law. She hopes to “steal” him away from her twin sister. The only problem is that he is madly in love with his wife. Oh, and Tara meets Mr. Adonis, aka Ryan, and sparks fly between them.

The whole story about Tara being in love with her brother in law felt flat, until the middle of the book. More was explained, but until then, it was hard to take. I did end up feeling bad for both Tara and Azure and all of the issues that could have been resolved if they only talked to each other. The relationships between Azure and Liam, Azure and Tara, Liam and Tara, and Tara and Ryan were very realistic, even if they felt forced.

Overall, I did enjoy this book and would recommend reading it. The ending makes it worth getting through the beginning. 3.5 slices of bacon! (Rounded up to 4 slices because no one eats a half a slice.)

BLURB for Photograph...

Tara Thornton hasn’t spoken to her sister in two years, ever since Azure married the man of Tara’s dreams. Tired of the rift, Azure invites her to take a Mediterranean cruise on a friend’s yacht and, bowing to family pressure, Tara accepts.

Forced to be in close proximity with the man she still desires, Tara is thrown into confusion. The presence of celebrity theme park owner Liam Wilder and the reality of his marriage to Azure send Tara into a tailspin and, in an attempt to regain control, she responds to the advances of hot fellow guest Ryan Hyde, while determined to feel no affection for him.

But Ryan has a way of getting under her skin, and Tara’s plan to get closer to Liam is rapidly losing its importance as Ryan begins to break down her defences. Can she let go of Liam, let Ryan into her heart…and tell Azure the real reason for her silence?

EXCERPT of Photograph...

Standing next to her husband—her husband—Azure appeared taller than she had ever done. While Tara had always worn her height like a uniform, Azure had worn hers like a casual coat one might leave open, carefree and loose, hands thrust into the pockets. Her curves, her relaxed stance, her playful movements had all diminished her—but now, although the swell of her hips and breasts was even more pronounced than before, Azure was every inch of six feet tall, her head level with his.

Him.

It was strange to see him in a formal suit. Even stranger to see him pulling out a chair for the woman she had only two years ago called her sister. Tara’s fingers gripped the back of her seat, her body tensing with restraint. The Liam Wilder of the commercials was exciting, unpredictable, unknowable. He was at once warm and passionate, calming and vital, crackling with energy to the tips of his hair—which even now was still in uncontrollable blond curls, the only point in which Tara could recognise the man from her photograph.

A wave of feeling, both dreamy and cloying, seemed to descend upon her. It was the moment she had pictured for so long, and yet, at the same time, was a resounding slap in the face. For she had been remembering Liam Wilder the character, and in front of her was Liam Wilder the man, and Liam Wilder the man was married to Azure.

Impossible, unknowable, and her brother-in-law.
