Interview questions for Jaden Sinclair…

Quick round:
Coffee, tea or…what’s your vice? Pop, or soda drinker
Favorite Movie: I have many, so I’ll just give you two. “Cutting Edge” and “The Lost Boys.”
Favorite Color: purple
Favorite book/author: Lora Leigh
How do you feel about bacon? I don’t like bacon at all!

The REAL questions…
Tell us a little about yourself.
I live in a small town in Kansas. Been married for 18 years and have two boys, two cats and one dog. When I get some free time, I do knit and read once in a while. During the summer hang out with the boys at the pool as well as the lake, and in the summer time, my youngest does try his hardest to slow me down with my book work. So I do stay busy most of the time.

What’s under your bed?
Well I try to not have much under there, so what I do know that is, a gun. *don’t ask*

What comes first, plot or characters?
Strangely enough, I don’t do either first. An idea comes to mind that I work on, then come up with characters. The plot comes later on as I get into the book.

Pantser, plotter, or hybrid? Tell us about your writing process.
Seat of my pants kind of writer. I put some music on, headphone to tune the world out, and let the voices start talking to me.

Oddest thing on your desk?
Well, strangely enough I’m not really at a desk. I’m on a laptop, which is on either the arm of a chair I’m sitting at, or right now I have one of those small laptop tables that it’s on in the front room

What’s your most interesting writing quirk?
Word count. Whatever that first chapter turns out to be, I’ve got have the rest of the chapters around the same word count.

What’s your favorite thing about the genre you write in?
Making things up and new worlds.

What is the hardest thing about being an author?
Coming up with something new and hoping that it hasn’t been done, or that I do it different enough to make it my own.

What’s the easiest thing about being an author?
Thinking up new ideas all the time.

What do you wish someone had asked you for an interview question? Here’s your chance to get the soap box out!
Where do you come up with these ideas?

Blurb for Falling into You
Vincent ‘Vinny’ Laron crossed a line on his going away party four years ago – he hurt Charlene Rivers. He acted selfish at the one time when a man should never be selfish. Retired now from the army, due to an injury, he’s going home with a new mission. Show the girl who stole his heart that night how right they could be together. Only problem is… she’s not easy to convince. Which leaves him with only one thing to do…

Convince Her!

Charlene Rivers has tried like hell to put what happened between her and Vinny behind her. For the most part she’s done a good job at it, but when Vinny comes home without a heads up to anyone – well, the past might not stay where it belongs. Not when he’s made it crystal clear that he intends to show her how good they could really be together.

Excerpt for Falling into You… book 1 in the ‘I get what I want’ series
“Stop.” She squeezed his arms which had him stilling, but not moving. His eyes came up to hers. “I’m fine. You know I bruise easy. It’s no big thing.”

He said nothing, but his actions spoke louder than words could. Vinny lowered his head and kissed her so quickly she didn’t even get a chance to react. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer to his body and the kiss deepened. She heard him moan, dug her nails into the shirt he’d put on before they ate and tried to hold on to her senses as best as she could. Which was proving to be very hard.

One thing about Vinny she’d never forget, no matter how hard she tried was how his kisses made her feel. They stole her breath, leaving her senseless and craving many more of them. His hands slid up and down her back, then one fisted in her hair, pulling her head back as he slowly released her lips to trail hot kisses down her throat. When he reached her shoulder he stopped and rested his forehead on hers.

“I’m not going to repeat what happened before,” he breathed out. “I’m not going to fuck you on a counter. Promised myself that the next time would be different, and it will.”

Mentioning the next time was like cold water in her face. She got herself back under control and pushed him away, trying to get some distance between them. “There isn’t going to be a next time. I already told you that.”

She made to move away from him only to have Vinny catch her around the waist and pull her back to his body. She could feel the pounding of his heart against her back.
“There will be a next time,” he informed her, his voice soft in her ear. “I’m not going to fuck you this time, Charlie, I’m going to make love to you. There’s a difference and I’m going to take small steps and go real slow to show you that difference. I plan on showing you what a hand can do for pleasure.” To make his point he held her with ease with one hand and moved the other down to her bare leg, going from her knees up to the line of her shorts. Then he slid it over to her inner thigh, very close to her sex. “Using only my hand I’m going to give you such pleasure, and if you don’t feel pleasure the first time, I’ll keep on doing it until you do.” A whimper slipped past her lips when his tongue touched her ear. “After that, the next step is my mouth.” His words caused her to sway back and she almost fell, but luckily he was holding her up. “And I promise you by the time my mouth touches your body you’ll know about the pleasure I can give you.”

“Please stop,” she breathed out, closing her eyes as he rubbed her belly, nothing else.
“Can you guess what the last step to this seduction is going to be?” he asked, licking her ear again. “And it is a seduction, Charlene. I’m going to do everything I should’ve done the first time.”

She shook her head no. “You’re going to hurt me again.”

Now his hand moved up, cupping a breast. “Does this hurt? There won’t be any pain, only pleasure. My hand, my mouth, and my cock will give you more pleasure than you’ve ever dreamed of feeling.” Both hands were now cupping, squeezing and teasing her breasts, pinching and twisting her nipples, while his hot breath teased the side of her neck.
