Interview questions for Lily Velden…

Quick round:

Coffee, tea or…what’s your vice? Bonox! LOL, I’ve never tasted the stuff, but as soon as I read this question an old Australian advert started playing in my head and now I can’t think of anything else but it! The tagline for the ad was Coffee, tea or Bonox? Hahahaha, maybe I should write to them and let them know their advertising worked! I’m brainwashed!

Favorite Movie: Dear Frankie

Favorite Color: Green

Favorite book/author: Oh God, feeling the pressure… I can’t narrow it down! There’s too many to choose from.

How do you feel about bacon? It’s one of life’s necessities!

The REAL questions…

Tell us a little about yourself.
Something about myself… hmm… rather than putting you all to sleep with some boring statistics, how about I confess a few quirks and funny moments?

Let’s see… I’m one of those dreadful people who reads the last few paragraphs of a story and if I don’t like the ending I won’t read the book. Now before you all clobber me, the ending doesn’t necessarily have to be neat and pretty with the MC riding off into the sunset, but it does have to be satisfying or intriguing.

Um, what else? Oh, I know! I like to change what side of the bed I sleep on. Every month or so I’ll swap. It drove my ex-husband crazy! Hahahaha, maybe that’s why I’m now the ex!

And then, when I was a teen, my father rescued an escapee baby chicken from certain death at the chook farm and I raised him as a pet. His name was Captain Horatio Chook and I, um, ‘loved’ him so much he grew as big as a swan!

And last, but by no means least, growing up, I was a shocker for sneakily switching on my bedside light after my parents had gone to bed and reading to the early hours of the morning. Of course, that meant I was not a morning person. I’m still not! You just about need a crowbar to lever me out of bed!

So, yes, back to the story. Well, um, one morning when I was about fourteen, I overslept and ended up just throwing my uniform on and grabbing my books as I raced out the door. I made it to the bus stop with mere seconds to spare.

Half way to school I looked down at my feet… I was still wearing my oh so fluffy pink slippers!

What’s under your bed?
My daughter’s stuff! She’s been living and working in the UK for the past 3 years. By the time she opens all the cartons and sees her things again it will probably feel like Christmas to her!

What comes first, plot or characters?
Thank God! A no-brainer question! Characters, definitely characters. Often by getting to know them first the story tells itself.

Pantser, plotter, or hybrid? Tell us about your writing process.
I love that you use the phrase ‘hybrid’ it makes me feel like I’m some sort of exotic rose or should I say lily?

So, *cough*, I’m an exotic lily… because, even though I know the overall story arc before I start writing it’s the characters who dictate what pit stops and detours we make on the journey.

I’ve never written a storyboard, nor mapped out each chapter in my life, and if I’m being honest, if I ever did, I’d probably rebel against myself. I’d join forces with the characters, start a revolution, and flick myself the bird while throwing some kind of literary spanner in the works that took the story off in a whole new direction.

What’s your most interesting writing quirk?
Probably that I write the story out of order. I don’t write sequentially. It always amazes me that at the end it all flows and makes sense. I’ve decided I must have a guardian angel whose sole purpose is to help me pull it all together!

What’s your favorite thing about the genre you write in?
I’d have to say my favorite thing is the dynamics between the men. Men think and behave differently to women and I’m endlessly fascinated in how differently they see things and behave with each other.

What is the hardest thing about being an author?
Having patience! It’s not one of my better virtues, but you have to learn it as an author.

First there’s the gut-wrenching, nail-biting wait to see if your baby is even going to be accepted for publication.

And if you get the yay, then there’s the journey the book needs to take through the editing, cover art, galley-setting, proofreading, and converting/printing process. It all takes time. Unfortunately, the process doesn’t come with a magic wand or remote control button!

As I write this, though, I’d have to say something else I struggle with is knowing when to stop! Knowing when enough is enough, and it’s time to leave well enough alone. I’m a repeat offender when it comes to tweaking—as in, if it were an Olympic event, I’d be a shoe in for the gold medal! I’m always searching for the perfect way to structure a sentence, that one ideal word.

I think most writers would agree with me that when you find that perfect word to convey meaning and describe what you’re seeing in your head, rather than the merely adequate word, it’s like the difference between a flashlight and the sun.

What’s the easiest thing about being an author?
Spending time with my characters. They’re my friends and as real to me as you are, Mia. It’s great hanging out with them in my head!

What do you wish someone had asked you for an interview question?
Hmm, this is a tough one. I think, though, I’d have to say I’d like to be asked what I think is important in the creative process.

You might want to take a seat, Mia, because I’m about to pull out my soapbox and get passionate!

Okay, here goes.

I think the most important aspect of the creative process, and it applies to music and art as well as writing, is the taking of an idea and giving it life. It’s the taking of something that was previously only inside your head and turning it from a mere thought or idea into something real. Something tangible. Something that can be seen, or heard, worn or inhabited.

I believe that is what’s important and the achievement, not how the audience responds to it.

You have no control over the audience—each person will bring to the story their own life history, experiences, prejudices, emotional issues, expectations, likes, and dislikes. What one person loves about your work, another will hate for the very same reasons.

By saying that, I’m not dismissing the audience, in fact, the opposite is true. Every creator desires an audience for their work. Why write a piece of music if it’s never going to be heard by anyone but yourself? Why make an artwork which will never be seen by anyone else? Or write a book no one will ever read?

My point is, though, it’s important to stay true to why you decided to create that something in the first place. You have to stay true to the need within you that compelled you to start it, because putting a creative work out into a public forum leaves you vulnerable and exposed, so you need to be strong in your belief in yourself and your creation.

Okay, stepping down from soapbox…

Tell us about your latest release!
You’re brave, Mia, after my response to the last question! I could go on for hours about Noah and Robert and how much I adore them. They have been a wonderful addition to the voices in my head! And can I say, Noah has been beyond patient—it’s took me two years to tell his story. I just hope he feels I did it justice. It’s certainly been an adventure for me—a fun, sexy, but at times difficult journey that I’d take with him again without a moment’s hesitation.

I just hope your readers will give Noah the chance to charm them the way he did me.

Thanks for having me visit, Mia. It’s been a blast!

Blurb for Heart Knot Mine...

Despite a successful college teaching career, Noah Daniels has become depressed. He feels he’s leading a monochromatic life: love has eluded him. When he’s offered a chance to teach in London as part of an exchange program, he accepts, hoping a change of scenery will do him good. But once he’s there, his outlook on love and sexuality changes in ways he never expected.

Robert Callinan is Noah’s English counterpart in the program. The men exchange not only their jobs, but also their homes, and it is what Noah stumbles across while staying at Robert’s house that sends him on a journey of self-discovery—both mentally and physically. A journey that puts color back into his life… just not in the way he expected. When the exchange program ends, Noah has to go home, but he doesn’t know if he wants to return to the life he left behind.

About the Author
Lily Velden lives on the east coast of Australia, her family having emigrated from Holland when she was a child.

She’s both a left and right brain person, holding qualifications in both Finance and Fine Arts. She tells her friends that her way with numbers will make her a profitable artist and writer… one day.

Lily has always had a love of language and a beautifully crafted sentence, and admits to having a fetish for collecting quotes, poems, and song lyrics. What she won’t admit to is how many notebooks she’s filled with those quotes… Her fascination carries on into her artworks where she often incorporates text. When a shoulder injury slowed down her art practice she decided to explore her love of the written word more fully and began writing. “I’ll paint my pictures with words.”

Not that she’s abandoned artmaking in its entirety—Lily collaborates on the designs for all her book covers.

There are many things Lily loves, here are just a few of the PG rated ones: a good laugh (all the better if caused by a naughty joke), the smell of freshly baked goods and mown grass, a smile from a stranger, rainbows after the rain, and witnessing a promise kept.

Her latest book is the M/M Contemporary Romance, Heart Knot Mine

An Interview with KyAnn Waters and Betrayed Vows #eroticromance #newrelease #contest #kindle

Today we have my good friend, KyAnn Waters, talking about her latest release, Betrayed Vows! I have not had a chance to read this yet, but I have read a LOT of KyAnn's books and they are usually sizzling hot and filled with lots of delicious dialogue, sex, and conflict--not necessarily in that order. She's also running a contest with a Kindle as the grand prize, as well as some books and other great things. So stay tuned details at the end.

~Mia

~*~

I feel like I need to tackle you to the ground and give you a big smooch. We haven’t seen each other since last summer! Thank you for having me over to your blog.

What was the hardest part of writing Betrayed Vows?
Writing Betrayed Vows wasn’t hard at all. The story came together and the characters all had a voice in my head. The hard decision for me was whether or not to publish the book. It strays from my typical writing. As time went on, it was always in the back of my head. About a year ago I made the decision to publish the book myself. But rewriting, finessing the story to what it is today took more time than I thought it would. But I’m so glad I put in the effort because I’m super happy with how the story came together in the end.

What did you edit out of this book?
Oh My Hello! Look for numerous deleted scenes to pop up on my blog over the next few months. I cut the equivalent of a novella from the story. I kept the focus where I felt it needed to be, but in the process some great scenes with Gretchen found themselves on the cutting room floor.

If you could have three wishes granted, what would you wish for?

Calorie-free cakes, candies, and cookies. I am a lover of all things sugar. I can’t stay off it. It’s my crack.

A perfect memory for all the great things in life and the ability to forget some of the other experiences I’ve had.

Do you ever go around in a corset, high heels, and a whip to get you in the mood to write something naughty?
Every day. I wear red lipstick and listen to music as I strut around the house in fishnet stockings and 4 inch stiletto boots. I like that better than the truth of basketball shorts and t-shirts as I’m running from soccer game to soccer practice to marching band event. I write on an alpha smart as I taxi my two boys all over the state for their activities. I know, not so sexy and glamorous, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Mom is always going to be my first job. Writing time is found in the minutes in between.

Thank you so much for having me over today.

Betrayed Vows

Life on the outside is not as Landon Booker expected. But how can he make a future for himself beyond prison walls when the woman who is supposed to love him wants to see him sent back to the penitentiary.

Crystal Evans isn’t a home wrecker. Landon needs a friend…someone who can help protect him from his conspiring wife. Falling in love wasn’t part of the plan.

Yet vows betrayed leave all three with something to lose—Crystal her heart, Landon his freedom, and Gretchen the life she had before.

Excerpt from Betrayed Vows...
Landon pulled the shirt over his head, careful of his sunburn.

“And just as I was becoming desensitized to your nakedness.”

He had to find a way to stop her from speaking her mind. His body was whipping in and out of heat like a yoyo. “Let’s meet your boyfriend.” The thought was enough to discourage his determined hard-on.

“Butch isn’t my boyfriend.”

Fine, her lover.

In the garage, Crystal walked around the front of the jeep. Landon went to the passenger side.

“We’re not taking the jeep. This is Butch.” She pulled the tarp revealing a Ducati 1098. “Italian machinery at its finest. 160 horsepower.” She arched an eyebrow. “1099cc L-twin sport, I defy you to find a faster street bike.” She stroked her hand up the smooth plane of the front fairing. “Box-sectioned braced aluminum rear swing arm and top shelf Ohlins suspension. Carbon-fiber bodywork shrouds.” Her whispered words of love as she lifted a leg and straddled the seat.

Landon felt the weight of Crystal’s boyfriend lift from his shoulders. Jealousy certainly was a part of his worry, also the possibility Butch would interfere with the unexpected friendship developing between them.

“I had my friend Stephen video tape my first ride.” Her hands wrapped around the handlebars and then drummed her fingers along the grips. “This bike is hot.”

The bike wasn’t the only thing hot. He couldn’t decide what was more provocative, the way her ass and thighs gripped the seat, or the way her hands stroked the phallic like handlebars. He’d replace any part of the Ducati with any part of his body.

“How long has this love affair been going on?” He leaned against the bumper of the jeep.

“You could say we’ve been involved for a few months but there were others before Butch.”

“So the honeymoon isn’t over.”

She laughed and leaned into the bike. “Never. It’s built for one, but if you’re willing to trust me with your life, I’ll give you a ride.”

Beads of perspiration broke along his forehead. Once again her thoughts echoed his. Only he wasn’t inclined to include the bike on their ride.

~*~
Interview questions for Christina Hoffman… .

Quick round:
Coffee, tea or…what’s your vice?
Diet Pepsi. My niece considers it a real problem and attempts interventions regularly. Sometimes I’m tempted to take up crack just to get everybody off my back. (The proceeding was a joke – don’t do drugs)

Favorite Movie:
My movie favorites change with my moods (so, approximately twice an hour). Right this second, I would say, hmmm….hhmmm…..apparently my mood right now is indecisive. Can’t answer the question.

Favorite Color:
Blue. I’m an ocean, lake, river, sky sort of woman. Water baby, I guess.

Favorite book/author:
This changes every few weeks. It seems I have no sense of loyalty at all.

How do you feel about bacon?
Love to wake up in a cabin to the smell of someone else cooking it, but hate eating it. Same for coffee.

Tell us a little about yourself.
Ah, interesting question. I think people make assumptions about me because I’m fairly petite and have a bit of a British accent. They likely wouldn’t guess that I’m a fierce rock-climber. Or that I write stories about sex.

What’s under your bed?
Are we talking literally or metaphorically? Literally, there’s nothing under my bed, not even air. I moved recently and can’t bring myself to spring for a bed. I have the mattress and the boxspring, and sheets, but no frame. I probably shouldn’t put that out there. Maybe I’m supposed to say I have an exquisite boudoir with silk sheets and men feeding me grapes. Perhaps if the book sells a few copies, I can splurge and get those grapes…

What comes first, plot or characters?
That really depends on the story.

For this book, the idea of having someone be healed by sexual intimacy came to me before anything else. Then the heroine formed herself out of that. It needed to be someone scarred, but someone who could still take a risk. After that, I started thinking it through, and the type of scenarios which would allow her to overcome these demons began to emerge. Liam himself was tough to figure out, but one morning he just popped onto the scene with his black hair and his playful grin, and there he was. Ready to go.

Another book has been forming itself in my mind, but this time the protagonist has appeared first. She’s pretty wild, and I know where she’s heading. But all the whys and hows for getting her there aren’t with me yet.

Pantser, plotter, or hybrid? Tell us about your writing process.
I think it might be too early for me to claim to have a process. For this first book, I had what I thought was a pretty clear outline. I just looked back over my old notes, though, and I ended up doing a lot of things differently. I do need a bit of structure, to keep things moving. I’m definitely not someone who can sit at a screen and just let the characters go wherever they want. That being said, my characters often surprised me. So, I’ll take hybrid for 100, Alex.

Oddest thing on your desk?
My three-year-old nephew. That child is part monkey. I can’t keep him off anything

What’s your favorite thing about the genre you write in?
The freedom to say what I need to say. I didn’t set out to write erotic scenes in particular, but this story was about a woman who comes back to life after being really shut down. The way she does that is through physical intimacy, and then love. I couldn’t tell this story without saying exactly where she was being touched and how she was responding (and her partner, too). Once I had slapped on that 18+ warning, I felt very free to tell her story.

What is the hardest thing about being an author?
The workday never ends. Also, since I do this pretty much in secret, people likely think I’m a lazy recluse.

I know it’s the oldest excuse in the book, but it can also be hard to find enough time. I have a job, and I try to help my sister with her munchkins as often as I can. I do a lot of writing late at night, so for the last three months I’ve been pretty tired.

What’s the easiest thing about being an author?
My favorite part is that having time alone in your head is an important good thing, a vital part of the creative process. So, I’m not just daydreaming, I’m working.

I also like that, when you’re a writer, anything can be material for the next story. When I’m going through something very hard, I can give myself a little boost by telling myself it won’t all have been for nothing. I can use it later.

Tell us about your latest release!
I am really excited about Invitation now, but it was a process, for sure.

I was very worried when I started out, because I was being told I had to write bondage and that I needed to tell interviewers that I was sitting in my lingerie. I was supposed to create this persona, but it felt so forced and insincere and awful that I almost gave up on writing romance at all.

I researched what was doing well in the romance genre and found mainly BDSM themed stories. Or topics that were darker, more violent. I, very briefly, tried to write one, but it was impossible for me. The story I wanted to tell was completely different. In some ways I feel like the Pollyanna of contemporary romance, because there’s a sweetness to my story that concerned me, because it is not in style right now AT ALL! Eventually I realized that that was just who I was as a writer, and I’d better just embrace it. So, now I ask, “Who says Heat can’t be Sweet?” I’m trying to write really sexy books showing that regular people can have rockin’ sex lives.

An Excerpt from Invitation...
“I want to look at you.”

I didn't understand at first, until I saw he was tugging gently on the hem of my t-shirt. I was frightened. I hadn't been naked for anyone since the bad night. “I need to keep my underwear on.”

“Stand up,” he told me and I did. He propped himself up on the pillows and looked at me standing beside the bed. “I won't touch you. But I want you to take off your skirt.” I stood paralyzed for a minute realizing that I wanted to be with this man. I wanted to please him, and I wanted to please myself. It was time.

The light in the room was dim which gave me some confidence. My skirt had an elastic waist and was easy to slide down. I pushed it down past my hips and it dropped to the ground with a rustle.

I was in my white lace panties and my t-shirt. The cool air soon made my nipples hard and they pushed against my thin bra. I knew he could see them. “This is the sexiest thing I have ever seen.”

I blushed and looked at the floor.

“No, look at me.” I did. “Keep looking at me and take off your shirt.” My heart was pounding and my chest was heaving with fear, but I needed to do it. I pulled it off quickly and tossed it on the ground. I turned back to look into his eyes once more. “Oh, my god,” he said. “Look at you. Oh, I want to touch you everywhere. I want to lick every tiny part of you.”

I felt braver than I ever had. He was looking at me the way you would look at a beautiful painting. It was nothing like my ex-boyfriend or those animals at the bar had looked at me. It wasn't love, we had agreed on that, but it was like he loved my body. And being with someone who was so openly adoring me gave me strength. He hadn't asked, but I reached behind me to unfasten my bra. I took it off and stood trembling in front of him. He shook his head in disbelief. “How is this happening? How is this gorgeous woman standing beside my bed?”

He sat up on the edge of the bed. He held his hands out for me to take, if I wanted. Of course I did. He pulled me towards him and kissed my lips. He kissed my neck and my shoulders until electricity was buzzing along my entire body.

He kissed my nipple. “You have the most beautiful breasts I've ever seen. Your whole body, your whole body is insane.” My back arched in pleasure, pushing my breast deeper into his mouth. I grabbed his head, partly for balance because my knees were getting weak.

Getting Down To Business Blurb...Tired of living life out of a suitcase, traveling auto parts sales representative Jessie Knutson jumps at the
chance for a position close to home. When a flat tire keeps her from an interview appointment and the hot tow truck driver awakens her inner cougar, she realizes too much time away has done a number on her libido. Now the only position she wants involves being naked and pressed tightly against a hot, younger man whose eyes say she's more than a roadside pickup.

BJ Spencer has no time for love with an auto parts store to run, though he yearns to find the right woman someday. So when the smoking hot redhead he rescues alongside the road gives him a sexy smile, he remembers sometimes a man needs to enjoy the finer things in life. Long legs encased in thigh-highs are definitely fine, but Jessie seems to be total perfection in a tempting package. BJ just might be able to make both business and pleasure work for him this time.

Excerpt From Getting Down To Business...
The driver's side window rolled down and a young, handsome face poked out. “Afternoon, ma'am. Do you need some help with your car?” He had dark hair, smoky eyes, and sexy stubble. He was gorgeous.

Finally finding her voice, she answered, “I’m so glad to see you. I’ve got a flat. I'm afraid my cell doesn't work and I really didn't want to have to change my tire in a skirt. “ Even though it was true, she still felt foolish rambling on. She blushed and kicked an imaginary stone with her foot before resting her hands on her hips.

He cocked his head when he heard her answer. She had such a low, raspy voice that she was often mistaken for a man. That worked to her advantage as garage owners were more likely to make an appointment with someone they thought was a man and very off guard when they found out she wasn’t.

“Well, let me take a look and see what we can do.” He grinned and turned off the engine.

His low, rich voice had a slight Southern drawl. To hell with the car, she wanted him to do some service work on her. Just the sound of it made her panties wet. What a girl wouldn't give to have him whisper sweet nothings in her ear while feeling the breeze of his breath on her neck! Jessie’s heart skipped a beat and her knees weakened.

The truck door squeaked open. He eased out of the wrecker. His work boots sounded on the hot pavement as he advanced in her direction. Jessie bit her lip as she did a quick scan of the rest of him. The man was tall and lean with a certain swagger to his step. He wore blue denim jeans slightly worn at the knees and what looked to be black motorcycle boots. His light blue work shirt, unbuttoned and hanging loose, showcased a hairy chest and six pack abs. Yummy. The initials BJ embroidered on the pocket sent another line of erotic pictures floating across her thoughts.

Mike Faricy visited a few months ago with an interview and a peek at his last release, Case Shot (Case 6, Dev Haskell-Investigator.) I don't read much for fun because of all of the editing and other things I have to do, but Mike gifted me with a copy and I decided to give a new genre a try. I loved it! His lead character, Private Investigator Dev Haskell is a lot of fun. He's got a sense of humor as well as a keen sense of intuition when it comes to the cases he solves. I found the book to be well-written, with all of the ends tied up neatly. There was some passion, lots of danger and suspense with colorful characters. Definitely a great weekend escape (I read fast.)

So now Mike is back with the next case for Dev Haskell in Ting-A-Ling (Case 7) and I can't wait to see what Dev's gotten himself into now. Here's the description Mike sent along...

Ting-a-ling Description

When Private Investigator Dev Haskell crawls out of a warm bed to answer a middle of the night phone call he ends up offering to help the sexy voice on the other end. It’s such a simple request. All he has to do is deliver a message for a beautiful client. It seems she wants to meet with a former business partner and discuss his payment terms, if only she could find him. Dev is more than up for the task, after all, how hard could it be?

But things are never as they appear. Dev locates the man and delivers the message only to find himself a suspect of increasing interest in a missing person case. Suddenly, he can’t find his client and he can’t find her business partner. That becomes the least of his problems the moment a body turns up. He’s suddenly on the hook for murder and all the evidence is pointing toward him.

Haunted by a childhood experience, Dev will need all his skills and a good deal of luck to solve this case and save himself. Ting-A-Ling demonstrates yet again why Mike Faricy have been called America’s hottest new mystery writer… (The Dirty Lowdown)

Ting-A-Ling Blurb

After answering Danielle’s middle of the night phone call private investigator Dev Haskell offers to help. It’s
a simple task, all he has to do is deliver a message to her former business partner. The next thing he knows Dev is involved in a missing person case and he can’t find his client or her business partner. That turns out to be the least of his problems when he finds himself on the hook for murder and all the evidence points toward him.

Meanwhile, an incident from his childhood continues to haunt Dev, with his very freedom hanging in the balance everything seems to be beyond his control. He’ll need all his skill and a good deal of luck to save himself. In a tale fraught with danger, Mike Faricy, Master of the Bizarre lays one twist on top of another until a murder rap becomes the least of Dev’s problems.

About Mike Faricy...

I was born and raised in Minnesota and I still live there part of the year. I am the oldest of five. My wife and I have a long distance marriage, she lives in Dublin, Ireland and I live in St. PaulMinnesota. We’re together more often than not, but from time to time we may go 6-8 weeks without seeing one another. That said, we talk every day on Skype and I dare say we may talk more than many couples living under the same roof. We are both tied to our respective areas although we’re sort of looking for that warm winter get-away. That knocks Minnesota out of the running and Dublin at 38F and rainy in the winter isn’t a heavy contender when it comes to sunshine. Still with family and friends the get-away may only be for a couple of weeks. Usually about the time my wife has had enough of my direction and if my chores are finished I suddenly find myself dropped off at the Dublin airport with my luggage.

Christi Snow's Release of Snowcroft Lost #mm and #Contest #romanticsuspense #gblt

My good friend, Christi Snow, is releasing a new series today!

Snowcroft Lost (book 1, Snowcroft Men) takes place in the sleepy, touristy village of Snowcroft, New Mexico. This friends-to-lovers romance has lies, danger, deception and lots of tender moments as these two gorgeous men find their way to happily ever after.

She's also sponsoring a contest to celebrate her release day. She's giving away a signed print copy of The Shadow Of Mudflap, a special mug and some official Christi Snow swag.

Secrets and Lies…
Everyone has them. Big ones. Little ones.

For Trevor Mayne and Jamie Vaughn, secrets and lies are how they’ve made their fourteen year friendship work. Don’t talk about it. Ignore it and it won’t be real. Pretend like everything’s fine between the two of them.

Jamie can’t live like this anymore. He’s in love with Trevor, his best friend who just happens to be straight. Tired of hiding his feelings, he decides to walk away. From their friendship. From his hometown. From his business.

But before Jamie gets a chance to leave, a freak accident leaves Trevor with amnesia. A new blank perspective leaves him confused about the inconsistencies of what he’s told his life should be vs. the feelings that he knows he has. Now those secrets and lies, that should be safer than ever, are suddenly front and center and changing everything between them.

Their world is at risk because their secrets and lies aren’t the only ones at play here. There’s a bigger lie out there and it could just destroy everything as they get closer and closer to the secret hidden in depths of the Snowcroft forest.
