Mia Downing's Character Costume Party...

Of all of the holidays, Halloween is probably the most bittersweet for me now that my kids are teens. Long gone are the handmade costumes, the Walmart run the night before because the handmade costume isn't cool enough/broke/isn't ready, and the hiking around the neighborhood in search of candy. The only thing I don't miss is the candy. I know that sounds strange, but my kids are picky and I'd vow every year to only eat what they didn't like. Which is a lot. My new office chair is grateful my butt will not be getting any bigger this Halloween.

I've never written a Halloween story before, but I thought it would be fun to post what my characters from each book might like to go as if I threw them a Halloween party!

Spy Games: Trained for Seduction
Chase: Dom in leather (because he looks hot, and he wouldn't go as anything else)
Kate: His sexy school girl sub, probably the same outfit she wears in Birthday Games, because Chase thinks it's hot!

Spy Games: Lethal Limits
Jake: A sexy Doctor (or a sex Doctor) with dirty things in his medical bag, like lube and condoms.
Tia: A sexy Nurse

Spy Games: Endgame
Charlotte: A movie star
Aaron: A naughty cop with fuzzy handcuffs

Just Ask
Both Ryan and Jordan would show up in obnoxious Hawaiian shirts with straw hats and drinks with umbrellas.

Ripped
Gavin: An Artist with a paint palette, paint brush and a spattered cape sort of covering
Erik: His male model (he'd probably carry a frame to stick his head through, and be in a toga with a leaf headress thing.)

Switching Leads (Campus Cravings)
John would go as a wounded equestrian and Finn would be his horse.

Wow, I wish I could really have this party! I hope you enjoyed.

Oh, just love your characters costumes. This is my favorite time of year, being able to legally pretend to be someone else, even if it's in centuries past. :) [FYI - Do not know if anyone else had a problem, but I could not like Lynda Cox's Amazon Page...no like button showed on the new author design of page.]

I think Halloween is a nice, low stress holiday that's all about treats and costumes.

I love Halloween. I have ALWAYS enjoyed dressing up in costumes and pretending to be someone I am not. Now I get to enjoy putting my kids in costumes.

I love walking in the cool evening air on Halloween. I also love spending that time with my niece and nephew- seeing all the kids so excited is fun for me.
Helping to pick through that candy is no hardship either. ;)

I like seeing the kids coming to the door in costumes. I love to keep track of which characters I recognize.
